Eyes

You look me in the eyes,
And see,
The Happiness you have given me,
The pain of the past,
That I know will last,
Courage, to face this world,
Fear, of the future,
Steady, unwavering, and unconditional love,
For you, my only one.....

I look into your eyes,
And I see,
Truth when you tell me,
That you love me,
A need, to be in my arms,
A desire, to be my only one,
Understanding, where most people only find ridcule,
And confusion,
A person, who is true to her self,
But most of all, when I look in your eyes,
I see love,
Love for who I am,
And for that, I must return the favor,
With love of my own,
So that I can see,
That beautiful smile,
In your eyes....
