From A Metal Artist.....

You curse our music,
It's just noise,
You don't see the talents,
The work,
Put behind one song.

It takes alot,
To scream into a mic,
You don't know what it's like,
So think before you talk.

I worked so hard that night,
You just put me down,
I thought you have at least,
Been proud.

I know you don't like my stuff,
But please don't put it down,
I don't mess with your country,
But you still insult me.

No one saw the hurt,
The shame,
The rest of the band played on,
But I was stunned.

You didn't say "good job",
You didn't pat me on the back,
You didn't say you were proud,
But no one saw the pain,
I wouldn't let them.

I know you don't like it,
But at least learn to live with it,
I am a Metal Artist now,
And I always will be.............

    I know what your saying. i'm in a metal band myself, its easy for others to missjudge it as just pointless noise or tallentless screaming. but ignore them, enjoy doing what your doing and ignore those whos opinons do not matter

    Interesting, Confusing, and Good all in one poem. I Loved It. It was really good. Its really cool how you can make the readers feel different emotions while reading the poem :)
