Fake Out

You aren't the victim
You'd like for me to believe that are weak
You have all the power in the world
Yet you use it to be like everyone else

You are one of them
A poser, you pretend with your crowd
Because you can't hold a grip on reality
You have to cover up so no one sees the ugly inside of you

But I know
I know EVERYTHING
From the lies to the weird, awkward emotion
You're all artificial intelligence
Artificial being a key word

I'm done with people like you
You only p!$$ me off and make me question myself
Who am I? Why am I not like you?

But I don't ever want to be like you.

*I wrote this March 18, 2005. I was sitting in Literacy class and i was watching everybody trying to act so perfect and trying to be somebody they're not...it gets on my nerves, that's why this poem sounds so...um...I can't find a word for it. I know it's not my best but...i'm ok with that. :)*

    I AGREE! were all made to be different so why are people tryin to hard to be like everyone else? i wrote about this for an english paper! wanna bee's piss me off too! wonderful poem and writen on a wonderful topic!
