Forty Four Squirrels

by lisa marie   Sep 18, 2005

Have you noticed all the death?
The murdering of animals
The world is high on wealth
And I can see it in the streets
People walking nonchalant
Squirrels completely beat,
Laying around everywhere,
Smashed into the ground
Sometimes it makes me cry
When forty four squirrels die
On account of our society
And due to all mankind

I believe this poem is true. It's kinda odd though because to me most people don't think about dead animals they actually just think and look at all the humans in the world. I think this poem is very true. I mean i think animals are dieing more the humans anyday and no one is doing much about it at all. I mean when will everything will be dead and then there will only be us humans nothing to have a pet or have a favorite animal. I think it's the governments fault because i hate the government. And i hate people who hunt i mean nothing against it but it's so sad though. Well anyway you did an amazing job on this poem i really enjoyed it. keep it up. keep on writing. love always and forever.
