Fate and Destiny

by Eden   Nov 2, 2005

A solemn twist of fate wrenches my life away. No choice to allow freedom; a break from dim reality. Show me a side path grown over with weeds...a systematic error in fate that destiny feeds. I no longer know future, because the decision is not my own, but this enigma of fate.
So bright; I can barely see. I don't want this Fate. Can you not sense my will? I govern myself. That's why I live. Not to be judged by your encrypted laws, where my life is just a record; a sheet of paper scribbled on by deaf hands and an invisible face.
Release me, Fate. For I was not meant to be yours, but my own...and my own to cherrish and confirm what I know of darkness.
Consume me, if you will...but know that I feel my will is stronger than yours. If you dare to detour my path to your direction, I WILL ensure. I WILL crush you and burn you to less than ash. Then I will toss you to the wind, which shall carry you far, far away to nothingness. For that is all you are to my mind...
Nothingness.
And I am my own soul.
So leave me, Fate. My Destiny awaits.
