Storm

by xEmmax   Apr 24, 2006

I hear the storm breaking out
A fierce sea of cries
An echo of vicious crashing waves
A thunder of flashing lies

Trying to block out the haunting winds
The call of a solemn crow
A graveyard littered with broken truths
And secrets hidden from show

A trickling stream of desperate tears
Passes through the lonely night,
Cold dark drops of crimson red
Stain the floor of white

A torrent of rain lashes out
From darkened clouds of Grey
The carefree songs of happiness
Have long since flown away

As dawn breaks through the troubled night
Lullabies shadow the mind
The storm of emotions rolls away
Leaving its damage behind.
