Skin & bones.

by alyssa   Jun 6, 2006

Her form has turned to hollow
Just bones, skeletons bare
Her presence somewhat shaky
As she combs her brittle hair.

Putting on an outfit
That hangs off her fragile figure
She cant look at her reflection
For the reaction it will trigger.

Ribs fully exposed
through clothes that try to hide it.
She works to hold together
It couldnt hurt to try it.

But as soon as the days over
No regard for her health
A tiny poster girl
For a disease within herself.

A pattern of destruction
Placed into her hands
No one to confide in
Its too hard to understand.

Lack of sleeps required
Sufferings part of the pleasure
To lose a couple pounds
She would go to any measure.

Her worlds deteriorating
Left in her room to rot
They called her skin & bones
Never gave the name a thought.
