Show me the light

Here I stand,
I feel all alone,
even though i'm surrounded,
by so many that care

I'm waiting for someone,
I don't know her name,
to hold in my arms,
and show me the light

i'm lost in this darkness,
the dark of my thoughts,
I feel as if i'm falling,
farther into the dark

will anyone catch me,
stop me from falling,
to look me in the eyes,
and show me the light

this knife through my wrist,
as I remember the past,
only to be let go,
as I was stabbed in the back,

I feel that life isn't worth living,
I can't find the light,
will anyone catch me,
and show me the light

    Such a sad poem. I can really relate to the feeling of being alone and feeling as though nobody can seem to drag me out of the darkness.
