A Pen And A Piece Of My Mind

by Ironic Allure   Jun 26, 2006

In hindsight, this wasn't the safest place to start,
You've got something to say,
Oh but it's nothing of importance,
It can wait.
This wasn't meant as give up or goodbye,
This was a pen and a piece of my mind,
But this force is driving me to test the speed of light,
It's sad to admit,
While the skyline stays this way, I won't fall alseep tonight.
Every time I turn around you're always looking away;
It's just the nature of the game that we're playing,
Your social deviance is teasing me- I know what I want,
But I can't compete, I can't impress,
We've seen this fall before;
The imminent's stopped calling,
And now, without a warning all my words have lost their weight.
A cessation of all gravity, a loss of all sincerity,
As we burn with indelible flames.

Didn't feel it needed anymore.
Also feel it's lacking something, but there we go.x
