Loving You Would Be a Lie

by Scrittore   Nov 27, 2006

You say you love me, I don’t believe in love at first sight
It’s more complicated than the fate of rolling dice
But you seem concentrated on not leaving it all behind
I’m sorry baby, loving you would be a lie

I’m sorry baby, I know it hasn’t been long
But my heart is empty
And my soul long been gone
I don’t have any more to give
Loving you would be a lie

You say you love me, I don’t believe in love at first sight
It’s more complicated than the fate of rolling dice
But you seem concentrated on not leaving it all behind
I’m sorry baby, loving you would be a lie

We had this discussion and you can’t let it go
I’m sorry baby, but you really need to know
I gave it a try, but trying isn’t enough
I’m sorry baby, loving you would be a lie

You say you love me, I don’t believe in love at first sight
It’s more complicated than the fate of rolling dice
But you seem concentrated on not leaving it all behind
I’m sorry baby, loving you would be a lie

Wow, very impressive. Some people just can't take a hint, huh? Cheap lust...I love the second stanza, it's flow is awsome and is very visual. Great poem.
