Lost in Place

by Crying_Angel   Feb 28, 2007

I bear witness that I am forever under your control
Rise me up and send me not into the dark, forsaken hole
Trapped am I in this world of fearing solitude
Enjoying not the false laughs of this multitude

What has happened to the Great one's mankind
No hope in each other, no truth left to find
Were the words not clear to you reveal?
And did you not place the book of answers in the darkness conceal?

Look not at each other but for the one we should all love
Lower your gaze and raise your hands to the skies above
Do not look into your wallets or at the colours of your skin
True happiness will be found, the answer lies within

Judge me not for I do not shine with false glory
I am not you, you are not me, so just let me be
They tried to help us, and the words we chose to ignore
For it was those same words which would guide us to that very door

All the words in vain nothing much to gain
In the last few moments, everyone will be gone insane
And I am just a mortal, trying to hide one's face
I am just a mortal, a mortal who is Lost in place
