[[Why do we turn a deaf ear
to those who are hurt.
Maybe if we were to listen,
society might work.

The world may be better,
if we extended a helping hand.
People all need help somehow,
we are just blind to understand.

People think killing is the key,
so we fight many wars overseas.
To fight for a lie that we call peace.
But yet these wars, they never cease.

The world may be a better place,
if we were to just open our hearts.
If we didn't think with our pride,
we might not tear ourselves apart.]]

    I enjoyed this one also, It was a bit short and left me hanging but the message and Idea was great. I must say that the third stanza breaking apart from the rhyming scheme threw me off for a bit but all in all it was good. 4/5
