Never what we planned

Nothing I ever do
Turns out to be right
I tell you how I feel
Then we end up in a fight

I just don't understand
Where it all went wrong
Everything we had
All of it is gone

Every dream we shared
Everything we've planned
Our entire friendship
Is hanging by a strand

The strand is growing weak
We're almost at the end
Was all of it a lie?
And what we had pretend?

I feel like I'm just waiting
For the strand to break
All of this is torture
It's more then I can take

So what do I do now?
Watch our friendship die
To think it might be over
Makes me want to cry

How could all this happen?
Where did we go wrong?
We used to be so close
We used to be so strong

So really what's the point
Of pulling till it's done
Both of us will lose
Should I take my chance to run?

Maybe all we'll have
