Your Demise

by ShadowedPhoenix   Aug 18, 2007

You stood there and watched my soul break,
I know you tried to get me back
But I walked away,

And I hope you felt your heart ripping out your chest,
That the blood burnt your flesh.
You know how I felt that day then.

You can go on pretending and believe you’ll be ok_But it’ll hurt for the rest of your life.
And if you haven’t felt it yet-
The worst is still to come.

When you see I and you see how happy I am
WITHOUT YOU
You’ll shatter and I’ll stand there and watch.
And anything you say I will never believe
And I’ll walk away again.

After all my scars are yet to heal
And until they go I’ll hate you for eternity.
6 months and I haven’t reached for the poison yet,
It’s as if you never existed

I know that the pain never really leaves
And I hope you feel it too forever
So that when you finally crash and burn
I can take credit and satisfaction in your demise.

Besides I’ll hate myself less for believing in your lies!
