The New Nothing

The light is shining onto darkness
The ground gives way
Earth becomes the new nothingness
Things never ever change

Veins and roots entwine
Buried inside my mind
Looking for the new blood
To lead the blind

Personalities are pet hates
Plastic covers your soul
Your just another torn princess
Wishing she was whole

A castle made of scum
Is where you sit upon your throne
All looking glasses broken
Your reflection, never known

A pin point in the darkness
Poisonous speeches through closed lips
Your hoping this is salvation?
The world laughs "you wish"

    This is very different. At first I thought maybe it might have to do with nature, but then it twisted.... I like that....

    Nothing what I expected... I gues that is why the title is even more appropriate for this piece.
