I adored this part, "Is this sorrow that i see, or quite simply an ocean view" - This is what i felt from that section of your poem.

Excellent free verse combining imagery with emotion

WOW!!! What a beautiful write. One reading this could almost feel as though they were there...seeing exactly what you see. This piece is BEAUTIFUL! Never in a million years could I write a poem like that. It had everything someone looks for when they read a poem: Imagery, flow, advanced vocab. You can put the reader into your shoes and make them feel what you are experiencing. Beautiful job. I would nominate this if my votes would work. Hands down amazing!
