I miss

by Just Lisa   Oct 8, 2007

I miss being innocent and not knowing some of the things I know today,
I miss going to the coffee shop with Mike and my dad every Saturday and Sunday.
I miss sleeping at meme's house because she was the best friend I ever had,
I miss going go-carting at Bingamen's park late at night when I use to race with my dad.
I miss seeing all the presents wrapped and marked "from Santa" under the Christmas tree,
I miss going to meme Lessard's for Christmas dinner when everyone got along nicely.
I miss going to Forten's with my parents and not being able to eat the gummy bears when my sister always could,
I miss being the best at video games because everyone always said I was really good.
I miss living at the house on Lacasse and hanging with all the friends I had met,
I miss going to St. Marguerite d'Youville, when I use to get help with the things I didn't get.
I miss playing lego's in the front room when that was the only thing I really liked to do,
I miss going camping at Jelly stone park with all the groups of people we knew.
I miss being healthy because I wasn't old enough to do it all on my own,
I miss not knowing it was my mom pretending to be Santa's little helper on the other end of the phone.
I miss being little and innocent because I didn't know the things I know today,
I miss when things always stayed the same and when everything would always be okay.
