Lost Hearts

Pain filled eyes look out at him
Watching his every move
Longing finger brush his skin
His eyes dart quickly away

Lust blind hearts long to feel,
His soft pink lips, his soft flesh
Longing to do a dance of love
Hoping he will protect her

Arms out reached but grasping air
He turned away for someone else
The light has left his love's blue eyes
Clear sad tears now fall

Hidden passion, secrets kept
His heart lies deep in shadow
No matter how much she fights
He is not hers to hold

    Hmm what a poem,, very interesting actaully, first time i saw the titled it makes me excited to read it,, and now here it is,,,,, there is a great expressing those thoughts and very powerful..

    I really liked the emotion you put into this poem... very descriptive.

    Its really sad though...

    I find poems of love that can't be really dark
