I Miss You

The sunshine peeks through,
I awake from my bed,
And instantly get flooded,
By the thoughts in my head.

I MISS YOU

I am bombarded with memories,
Each time I close my eyes,
But all I can do now,
Is take a breath, and sigh.

I MISS YOU

Where I once could hear you laugh,
Only echoing silence resides,
Where I once had a friend,
Now I have no one to confide.

I MISS YOU

The press of your lips,
And the warmth of your embrace,
Always made me smile,
And my heart begin to race.

I MISS YOU

I want to hold you again,
Make things the way they were,
Before your mind got clouded,
And everything became a blur.

I MISS YOU
