Light in the Darkness?

Light in my darkness,
Where did you go?
I'm left all alone now,
With nothing to show.

My silent screams,
They echo around,
The words try to come out,
But they don't make a sound.

Darkness envelopes me,
It steals my joy and my smile,
Where is my light,
That I had for a while?
