A cutter's paradise

by Poetic Ninja aka Papachopchop   Jan 16, 2008

My stainless steel butterfly.
Cut me deep, bleed me dry.
As life blood leaves me, the memories flee me.
Drop after drop, pain after pain.
The big question now, am I still sane?
Cold hard steel, pierces warm live flesh.
Pain and ecstacy mesh.
A sting, a burn, no longer do I yearn.
Embrace the darkness, I fear my own hands now.
Steel over skin, again and again.
It's easier everytime.
When will it end, why did it begin.
A pain for a pleasure, what price my mind.
Sanity is slipping, I feel sublime.
The memory will fade, the scars will stay.
A long sleeve shirt, hides the flesh I have hurt.
Some cuts are explained away.
They mark it up to kitchen work.
Sometimes sharp kitty claws.
Wait a minute, pause...
Did you hear that?...
Come here kitty cat.
