Guileless Girl

by Ridge   Apr 23, 2014

I draw you in my note book
Painted in a world in miniature
Walking throughout the mossy woods
Located near my neighborhood

Moments that are sad and happy
Scooped up in my memory
You display not one speck of ugliness
You are incapable of kindness

And yet somehow everybody loves you and it pisses me off
I had found the true guileless girl in the world
Coughed her out of my hands to let her walk away
Have fun and drain me in disarray

Your voice streams lies in disguise
You ensnared me under the radar
Your light green emerald eyes glance with the sunrise
Men are tousled like imbeciles

On top the world she stands sentry
Seeking to star another headline
And I can see how she changed so quickly
She raises her eyebrow, flashes her trademark smile and makes me sad
