A Holiday To Remember

by Baby Rainbow   Jan 27, 2015

Drugged and silenced
on the back seat of his car,
she lay there counting hallucinations,
dazing in and out of space.

The last words he said to her
echoed through her spinning mind;

"I am going to give you
a holiday to remember!"

Photographs, flashing lights.
Unknown voices, sleepless nights.
Vague recollections, blurred out visions.
Bruises, scars, shot nerve endings.

And although that event has
so many missing pieces that
she has never been able to trace,
one thing she is certain of:

He definitely gave her
a holiday she would never forget.
