My Friend Ana

by Christina   Mar 3, 2015

There is a girl
who lives in my head
she closes my mouth
with a needle named thin

She comes up with lies
to tell others
so the thread wont be broken
that is sealing my lips

There is a girl
who lives in my head
skin and bones at most
you'd think she was dead

She makes my stomach growl
yet does not give me food
she makes me cry
when I see my reflection

There is a girl
who lives in my head
she tells me to run
so I can look just like her

However this girl is my friend
she only wants to help
me to become pretty
like I think she is

The girl who lives in my head

    Awesome poem!
This poem is so sad. Remember that looks are not the most important thing in life.
You might want to work on the rhythm in some places. But other than that, great job!
