Love's No Longer There

One thing I have learned is that
there is no turning back
from one error of judgement
that leaves you damaged to the core.

I still feel the same frustration
trying to explain my silence,
even though it screams
through my sorrow-filled eyes.

But I will look no further
to try and find your love again,
for one thing I have learned is that
you cannot ever find a love
that simply is not there.
