Paranoid Disposition

by Baby Rainbow   Dec 29, 2015

I said I was willing to give it a try,
to trust one last time with my nervous disposition,
because I had nothing left to lose,
but so much more to gain.

I began climbing with baby steps every day,
trying to trust you, but waiting for your regret
once you saw the stress I cause
and found out I held poison within my skin.

Without hope, I came to you,
wondering if you would stand by me
when you looked deeper inside my soul
and saw the truth.

And now my feelings are changing,
as I am starting to need you more,
and I only wish I had found you sooner
so I could have opened up the door.
