Sister

by Hidden1   Feb 7, 2008

Sister, I love you and this you know to be true.
I would give my life in place of you.
I would freely cut off and give you each and every one of my limbs.

Sister,I would give you my last breath just so you could live and breath.
Just have my blood pumping in your veins so you could have a piece of me.

Sister, as much as I love you, you are doing an A+ job of pushing me away.
Let me grow up and do things my way.
When I make mistakes love me through them.
Don't sit there and make me feel bad and ridicule me.

Sister, we are two totally different people. We don't do things the same.
Don't try to conform me for to do so would cause me to hate you and then I would feel shame.

Sister, you lived your life, it's time for me to live mine.
I don't need you breathing down my neck,
Telling me if you had to do it over this is what you would do.
Well you can't and I refuse to make the same mistakes as you.

Sister, I love you and you know I would fly to the sun and moon for you. I would swim in the deepest ocean if that was what you wanted me to do.

Sister, don't force me away and pound your thoughts into my head. I promise I will hate you forever and in my mind I will see you as dead.
