The Things I Miss

I miss your smile,
I miss your touch,
I miss you holding me,
Just miss you so much.

I miss your laugh,
I miss your kiss,
I never thought,
I'd miss you as much as this.

I miss every minute,
You'd spend with me,
I miss every second,
Of what used to be.

I miss every moment,
We'd spend together,
I miss how your hands,
Were as soft as a feather,
How your love,
Was as precious as you,
Now my heart is lonely,
And it doesn't know what to do.

A now a year later,
My heart still cries the same,
And it dies a little bit more,
Just thinking of your name.
These are the things i miss,
The things I'll never forget,
And the one thing I'll always know,
Is that you shouldn't have left me yet.

For our dear friend Kai, we miss you so much that it hurts. We love you babe xxx

    Dang, this poem made me weak and brought tears to my eyes. The emotions just jumped off the page and in my heart. Dang, I don't know what to say, this was just so sad.

    You made me cry reading this poem. You put so much into it. The emotions first that I felt was for a lost lover of mine. Then I read the end, and I reread it. I teared up so much. Believe when I say, I'm sorry :( You transferred a lot of emotions into that poem because I can't remember the last time someones poem made me cry. good work, keep writing! I gave you a 5 for it being a flawless piece of work.
