Crimson violin

by viraz vitalia   Feb 9, 2008

Fingers moving quick across the strings
The bow sliding gracefully across
The music coming to life
And swimming in front of me
The devil incarnate was playing his song
I closed my eyes to remember the passage
Notes sprang forward going to my hands
And coming back out
But then...
I saw your face in my mind's eyes
The music stops
My fingers slipped and dropped a note
My eye's clenched tight in pain
I slowly opened and saw red
It slid down my strings and coats my hand
I end the song my nails now crimson
My fingertips dripped crimson tears
Why?
Why now of all times
I thought I was over you
But I guess I'm not
I washed away the blood
But I can't wash away the memory
My fingers stung with pain
Pain of knowing I'm not over you
It may get worse
It may get better
But it seems that the feelings
I thought were gone
Are still here
Know I have a crimson violin
Crimson because of you

Wow. this is a very vivid and powerful poem. my only suggestions are to spell violin right in the end and keep your verb tense consistant!
