Every Start Has An End

Every new beginning is good
starts off at perfection
but give it time to dwindle, time to grow, and it worsens...
You fight, you argue, you get hurt.
I was his beginning
I was his project
It was good at first
then feelings took charge
and where feelings grow
bad seeds follow
I could swear he cared
I could swear he appreciated
I could swear he realized... What?
That I am perfection
Everything he seeks I am
Everything he want I'll give
Everything he need I have
So why not hold on?
Am I not everything?
Am I not enough?
How could he tear down my barriers, but make his stronger?
How could he take my heart, but not offer his?
How could he make me love him, and not think twice about loving me?
