Veil

by Danielle   Feb 15, 2008

I see the world through a veil,
The veil, not naive nor ignorant,
But altered.
When one sees days, I see nights
When one sees hugs, I see fights
The world looks pale, all the flowers are dead,
No one's thoughts remain in their head,
But linger there, in the air until the thoughts disappear.
But they're all the same
And they're all so plain
Not to blame. . . anyone.
For my eyes have been altered by a sardonic veil,
Built up by a chaotic world.
But when i take another look,
The veil had fade away
What I saw was a shock,
Everything was the same.
