Porcelain Doll

by dona moo-young   Feb 16, 2008

I'm just a glass doll
Trying to fool you all
You see a perfect smile
But that’s just a part of me
I break easily
So , much that you don't see
This glass case covering
I use to hide everything
I have to keep it in
The pain that I'm feeling
Everything's going wrong
This glass can't keep me strong
It won't be too long
Before I'm shattering
I'm made of porcelain
So close to breaking

Porcelain Baby Doll
I can't walk, Can't crawl
Stuck in this glass case
Forced to maintain a face
Porcelain Baby Doll
I'm so afraid to fall

Here in this glass case
My porcelain face
My memories can't be erased
Collecting like dust they sit
Waiting for my visit
The dust lies on this glass
Memories of my past
They try to infiltrate
The shelter that I make
Protecting myself from harm
But I find myself disarmed
I push everything a way
Hide in this case I make
Don't want to be broken

A Porcelain Baby Doll
I'm just afraid to fall.
