Into the Wind

by Chris   Feb 17, 2008

His soul smiled as we passed him by,
And he whispered softly, please do not sigh.
For although I'm gone Ive never left,
I'm with you always and step your steps.
His voice faded slowly but still we believed,
The whole world was silent except for the trees.
For he was the breeze and the bark on the limb,
With the freedom of fire he marched in the wind.
