If he can no longer see?

What if he can no longer
appreciate the beauty of the world?
If he can no longer see the moon?

What if the rainbow after the rain
looses it's appeal?
If the colours aren't clear?

What if he can't see me grow up
into the daughter he wants me to be?
If he misses out on my life?

What if the sunset disappears
before it's over?
If it's magic can not be seen?

What if he can longer see the words on a page
morph to form such a real picture?
If he can no longer read such stories?

What if the faces of his children
become such a blur?
If he can't see his wife?

**not the best poem i have ever written but it tell it like it is. my dad is finding it hard... the TV goes blurry and he probably has the same problem with driving.. he doesn't know i know.. I'm scared he will go blind like his dad...**
