The cold within

by girlnextdoor   Feb 19, 2008

Walking down the snowy road
my body shivers with every step
but not because of the winter
but from the cold within.
I can't really remember
when it all began to change
but my eyes no longer sparkle and smile
they're too busy sheding tears
this is the price I pay
for loving you all these years.
Can my friends not notice
and begin to see
that I am not the happy girl
that i used to be.
Or do they just not care?
