To look at someone
And know he means the world to you
But you mean so little to him

And try desperately to find something, anything to say
Only to have a glimpse of his smile
And to hear his laugh

To go out of your way to be near him
And then to have him so close it hurts
And knowing that he is completely oblivious
To the turmoil of emotions inside of you

To want him so badly, you cry
You would be so quick to find fault
Each time you were to meet another guy

To know that no matter what you do
It wouldn't be good enough for him

To watch the same emotions
Race across his face
