Silent prayers,and she was gone

by Maddyxxx   Feb 21, 2008

She sat alone in her room
Started drowning in her own thoughts
Her mind was faded
Her body weak
She hadn't had the best of days

She fumbled for the bottle of pills
Said a silent prayer in her head
while taking the top off
her vision blurred as she tipped the bottle
pills fell into her hand
and before she knew it
she consumed a handful of them

time went on,and she knelt at her very bed
felt sick and not right
she held her head up seeing the light
then fell forward with a thud against the bed
she slipped so fast
crying heavily
naming all the people who ever gave her pain
said her silent goodbyes
and then she was gone

Oh my gosh. I have to say this one of the strongest poems I have read in a LONG time. Definately a 5/5 if I have ever read one!! This is great, but sadly, I can relate...
Well, congrats, keep writting, your real talented!
