Seasons of Love

by Emma   Feb 21, 2008

In love that blossoms on a tree
Is love that lives in you and me
From petals pink, To dry, crisp leaves
Every moment with you I sieze

The winter's bleak, so harsh and cold
But in your arms with words I'm told
You'll keep me safe, you'll keep me warm
Till spring has come and winter's gone

When spring is here, the transition stage
I'll hold your hand to turn the page
We'll stay together, as we should
While flowers blossom like lovers would

It's finally summer, our time to shine
Your eyes light up and so do mine
We're in full bloom, no going back
It's you I love, my happy thoughts back

As summer ends, we walk into autumn
Nearly a whole year past but nothing forgotten
You still have my hand along with my heart
Our bodies as one, we'll never part

And then we're back, right at the start
I'm happy to have you, I love every part
From the top of you head, right through to you toes
We change like the seasons, That's just how it goes
