Mirrored Truth

by monica   Feb 25, 2008

The twilight gathers
and i feel the pain
of not being what i am
the blood in me pounds
surging with energy.
i need to feel the power,
the thrill of the hunt
as two hearts beat as one,
the other finally fades
rain falls washing crimson ink away
walking home
i catch myself in the sheen of a mirror
I'm there if you look, only but a faint glimmer.
