Fear Love

by Deedee Hockley   Feb 25, 2008

These are my words not form a song.....
IF I were lost, lonely, and crying in the night,
Would you find me?
Is your heart big enough to cradle me, to love me,
When I cannot love myself?
The hard shell I put to the world, the laughter and joy
The child hiding in fear inside.
The loves we have lost, the tears that flow down my cheeks,
the pain I never show.
I want to open my heart, to love and be loved,
but I fear my heart cannot open.
One lost love to many, one too many lost loves,
and too much self-doubt.
