Self-Induced Isolation

by Miranda   Feb 26, 2008

Her family notices
she's becoming more withdrawn.
They don't question,
they don't care.

Her friends notice
She doesn't hang out anymore
They get worried.
But she just needs to be a b****,
They will leave soon enough

She knows what she's doing
making sure no one is there
to witness her downfall
But there will also be no one
to fix her broken heart
and shattered soul

She knows this time
will be different,
so much harder.
She just hopes
she can survive
this self-induced isolation.
