Frozen*

by Paige Lea   Feb 28, 2008

I'm over here and you're over there
I can't help myself - it's hard not to stare

Your perfection is incredible, your way is sweet
And the grace of your steps is hard to beat

When you look over at me, my heart will melt
And I cannot believe the cards I've been dealt

Your eyes meet with mine, my heart at a fast pace
You walk over now and I'm frozen in place

You smile your smile, and my face turns bright red
This can't be real - I must be dead

I'm frozen still, like a waiting block of ice
Because I don't really know why you're being so nice

Who would've thought that a girl like me
Would have a chance to know what real love can be?

At least, I think that's what it is, and why my heart beats so loud
And with your hand in mine, I feel light as a cloud

I am yours and I give my heart to you
There's nothing for you that I wouldn't do
