The Words We Say

by Lost and Alone   Feb 29, 2008

Hatred is a waste of time
A waste of energy or words for rhyme
When friendships are made and when they fall
That word can mean everything or nothing at all
It's overused and incorrect
Sometimes it's used to circumvent
From a religious point of view
Hating and Murder are equal too
Disliking ins one thing but Hatred is not
It means so much more and it's all that it's got
Everyday someone says it but do they know what it means
Cause not everything is all that it seems
Are you really that hurt or will this too pass
Will you stay and mature or leave and leave fast
Do you fear growing up, do you fear staying down
Because that's how it feels with hatred all around
Millions have starved, so many are dead
All because one word popped into their head
No one would talk, no one would listen
Sons would walk off as their mother's tears glisten
Guns will shoot off, Buildings will drop
All because one person just wouldn't stop
Someone who decided time and again
Hatred is honest, Hatred is my friend
