With her green eyes glowin'
And her brown hair a-blowin'
She knows this feeling all too well
The tears soon will come
With misery undone
And no one will be able to look at her and tell
With her heart in her hand
She dug a hole in the sand
This starts the beginning of the end
With her head hung low
She placed her heart in the hole
Burying her heart so that it faded to mend
With a tear streaming down her face
She turned and walked a slow pace
No one could hear her unheard cry
With her strength and the knife
She stabbed her heart, took her life
Ending her hurt as she ceased to die.
