The downfall of society

by Madison   Mar 3, 2008

Looking high and low for a friend
seeming to find that day to day
every hour spent in search
means nothing till the end is seen
losing so much is hardly painful
but not in a way that seems to stick
once again the hunt begins
the hunt for something far beyond real
nothing stops the lasting sorrow
that seems to set with every day
longing for the eternal fire
to burn the man inside the soul
refined as only the precious could be
at last behold the beauty of legacy
