What I've Found In You (poem)

by Katiex3   Mar 3, 2008

In your caring, loving arms.
I've seemed to have found a home.
I suddenly have protection.
from the wind, the rain, the cold.

Too, in your bubbly smile,
You give back my youth.
In that somewhat magical smile,
I see only the truth.

And your words ; they take away,
All the doubt, the rage, the fear.
And with those soft yet subtle words,
My foggy skies are cleared.

I saved my favorite for last.
Yes, those hazel eyes.
Those make me feel as if,
I'll never say goodbye.

Every time I see you,
despite the pain I've felt,
my smile emerges because,
you helped me find myself.
