Fire and ice

We have had our fights
Seen the tears
And heard the yells
And still I wonder why we are here

We have been like this for so long
Have we grown apart?
Did we even know each other?

You tell me we will be fine
We say we will work on things
But still nothing is changing
Are we really meant to be?

We are like fire and ice
The sun and the rain.
Either way
No one will remain

Could we ever be
