Be gone

by ava michelle   Mar 3, 2008

I watch as he walks
Talks on his phone
Wash his wonderful hair
I watch him undress for bed
Set his clock
And I watch him fall asleep
With out me

We had a fight
Now he's mad
And I can't help
I told him
I was sorry
He just wont listen
I cry through a black eye
For the hurt I feel
But it doesnt help

I wish he would hold me
Kiss me
Make the hurt better
But he wont
He thinks he's right
And I'm wrong
But it doesnt matter
Because by this time tomorrow
I'll be gone
Like the bird who sits on the window sill
I'll fly away
And never look
Back
