Tortured Shadows

That sound they say is simply the wind,
the one that everyone has heard
but nobody has cared enough to find our what it really is.

Alone

The noise you hear in the darkness,
when you feel eyes burning into your back.
Everone says its just your imagination,
and that is simply that.

Invisible

When the lights flicker on and off,
they say it is just the fuse
and think nothing else about it.

Ignored

Dogs start to bark for no good reason,
people simply tune them out
as if they aren't even there.

Discarded

But when they see the blood dripping onto the floor
and see my lifeless body,
i wonder if they will finally notice me?

I am the noises of the night,
the things people simlpy ignore.
I am the flicker of the lights,
and the eyes you feel on your back.

You tuned me out before,
but now you will know i am real
because i am dead right before your eyes.
