Death Of Faith

by Sora   Mar 5, 2008

Never give up hope, for it's the wrong thing to do,
But what action would you take, if you were me and I was you?
I can't help but think at times I want my life to be over.
Suddenly, sometimes, his spirits there, and his hand is perched upon my shoulder.
Telling me keep going and everything will work out for the best,
That moment takes a hold of me and my heart starts skipping beats in my chest.
I know I am strong and not a failure,
Then I get on my knees and say a prayer.
For strength to continue and thanks for the gift of life,
And the heart to love with all my might.
For I know if I don't believe,
All my worries and troubles will follow me.
And if I lose hope my life He will take,
Which will result in the Death of Faith.

Thank so much for reading! The person I was referring to wen about the hand on the shoulder part was my brother Micheal, who died 2 years ago in a car accident.
Thanks again!
